Quantcast
I have 17 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Nice! We have five players ready with picks. Two weeks left to get your picks in for the contest.

Can you put my dad in with a cash position and change my pick to HYFM short please. I gave up on the nasdaq rally, so my guess is we head back to the lows and maybe panic from there. My dad is in cash and doesn't want to pick anything. He got angry when I asked him. Is there any way to include him in the contest with his choice?

Sure. I changed your position to HYFM short and put your dad in with a flat cash position. The only way he can win, however, is if everybody else is in the red at the end of the contest. Perhaps he would like to short one of the indices instead?

One thing we should probably make clear is that making a pick after January 30, i.e. converting the cash position to a stock position, will still carry a 20% penalty according to the rules
