Rules for Pick of The Year (PoTY) 2021

So you want to just use Feb 5 closing price for everybody, then? I’m OK with that, but I think we have to lock that in for everybody who has already entered. What if a few stragglers who were unable to access the site show up over the next week or so? Will we give them an exception, or hold them to the 20% penalty?

February 5, 2021 closing price is fine with me. Maybe we should extend the deadline to the end of February 14, 2021 for those that could not log in. They would get the February 12, 2021 closing price. After February 14, 2021 the 20 percent penalty applies. Any thoughts? Thanks

That sounds good to me. I think we need to lock it for everyone so far with the Feb 5 closing price. I do think we should allow stragglers in next week with a Feb 12 lock date because I know I still can’t get in without a VPN, so there still may be people that are just assuming the site’s down.
