I have 33 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Default PotY Contest Standings As of Market Close, October 15, 2021

Not much new to report this week. Louetta’s SAN continues its reign at number one, widening its lead in the process. Jiesen’s TSLA also continues to hold onto second place, although its grip may be getting a little precarious as market pressures are driving TSLA up against this short position. Still, only SAN and TSLA are in the green, no small accomplishment in this market. Taking up third place is Paco’s ETSY, which continues to tease the break even mark and may soon become our third position in the green. As for the rest of us, positions range from not-too-bad to what-the-*%$&-happened. As we close in on the final two months of the contest, some of us can only hope for a market miracle to put us back into the thick of things. Hey market, come on, man.

Default PotY Contest Standings As of Market Close, October 22, 2021

Well, we had some movement at the top this week. Louetta’s SAN still held on to first place with a solid lead, but Paco’s ETSY jumped up into second after a banner week. It now becomes only the second long pick in the green. Congratulations Paco! Jiesen’s season long leading short position TSLA is in third. One pick to keep an eye on is Mr. Market’s TRUP, which is in the midst of a powerful move to the upside. Don’t stop now market. We need you to push a few more positions into the green.

What a week! Not. In a bit of another dreary week, we no longer have any picks beating any of the indices. Still, we do have two picks in the green: Louetta’s stalwart SAN and Paco’s moving-up-fast ETSY. Those are our current first and second place holders. In a rough week, Jiesen’s TSLA short jinked up sharply after the company announced a huge car deal with Hertz. Unfortunately, this knocked our season-long leader out of third place. Our new third place holder is Blind Squirrel’s KNSL, an excellent pick that looks poised to join the I-am-in-the-green club. OK, so it’s starting to get interesting folks. Less than 5 percentage points separate the first and second place picks, and the third place pick is only about 10 percentage points out of second. Behind that, are two more stocks, Vixtt’s ABNB and Mr. Market’s TRUP, that are only another 10-12 percentage points behind. It’s realistically getting to the point at which we have a number of stocks that could take it all if they get hot. As for the rest of us, our picks would have to turn into a nuclear reactor meltdown to stand a chance. Who knows? Stranger things have happened. Will the market get red hot? Will someone discover El Dorado under an above ground swimming pool in Paramus, New Jersey? Will the pope cut the soles off his shoes and learn to play the flute? Will dogs live in peace with cats? Anything is possible.

I'm prepared to concede (I won't, but I'm prepared). The rest of the year is usually a bullish period. ETSY can gain 5% in a day. No bank is going to do that.
