Quantcast
I have 28 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. I started touting it in June when it was announced that "on Jun 1, 2020, the FDA authorized OPKO Health to undertake a Phase 2 trial with RAYALDEE as a treatment for patients with mild-to moderate COVID-19". They subsequently signed a contract with the NFL to do COVID testing on all NFL teams and the stock doubled. They then announced that they had given the NFL 77 false positives affecting about half the teams and the stock was cut in half (almost).

Anyway they have now announced a contract with New York City schools to test staff for COVID. Given the damage done the stock (due to their mis-feasance) I again think it might be a good buy over a six month to a year timeframe. I have options in December but they now offer leaps as well as regular options further out. Seems like they have several avenues here to make money.

We haven't had much music lately so here is Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto Number 2, Opus 18, played by the interesting Anna Fedorova. You'll no doubt recognize this as the background music from David Lean's film Brief Encounter (1945).

"To Love Again" is the theme song of "The Eddie Duchin Story." The music is based on Chopin's Nocturne in E Flat, Opus 9 No, 2. The piano is played by one of my favorites, Carmen Cavallaro, "The Poet of the Piano."

That Chopin Nocturne is my absolute favorite! Love the way he interprets it in this rendition.

I have done that before to relax - it is quite intoxicating! I have some Floyd Cramer and Roger Williams that I like. You should start a "piano" thread!

This is not classical piano music, but it is a great performance. I love this guy's voice.
