I have 17 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Exclamation Rules for Pick of The Year (PoTY) 2018

    Happy New Year!

You have until the end of January up to 11:59 PM PST to make a pick -- starting price will be the closing price, (per Google, unless it's shown that the Google price is incorrect) the last trading day of January. Any stocks trading on the NASDAQ, AMEX, NYSE or OTC is fair game -- long or short.

We welcome IPOs if picked by the end of January -- starting price will be the closing price of the IPO.

Picks submitted after January are welcome -- a 20% penalty of the closing price.

Discussions and concerns are welcome. Good Luck!

I am in again this year. MIDD long is my 2018 pick. Restaurant equipment is always a good business, but these guys have many years of very low debt and good profit. Now they have a tax break and a growing economy that will bring new restaurant businesses and refurbish existing businesses. Yeah, it should be a good 2018 for them.
