Quantcast
I have 17 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Default The stocks that I'm nuts about!

Instead of just taking, I'm going to offer my own contribution here. These are the stocks that I think are going to have a good year, or two, or ten...

OZRK - A profitable and highly rated regional bank. I currently own this stock. I am long from $39.14

MIDD - They make food service equipment etc (I don't own this yet)
IPGP - Lasers! Lasers for fiber optics, and such. (I don't own this yet)
THRM - They make parts for industrial and automotive businesses (I don't own this yet)

I like each one of these for the same reasons; low debt, excellent sales and growth record for 10 years or more, excellent management, they have some kind of advantage in the marketplace, and I think they are under-priced currently. Additionally, I think their business is kind of cool.

OZRK is at a pretty important price level today. Trading at an all-time high that it hit a year ago and bounced off of pretty hard. I'm not concerned about it because I intend to hold my position into the $100 levels. Just interesting...

Here is where I think the companies on my watch list are heading:

    OZRK - $125
    MIDD - $500
    IPGP - $720
    THRM - $217

I have the most confidence in OZRK, and not coincidentally, I have 100% of my capital in it. If I didn't own OZRK, then I'd buy IPGP (I love those lasers!). I plan to sell my OZRK shares in about 12 months.

IPGP beats expectations... here is a link: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/ipg-t...131632774.html

Also, OZRK closing back in on the all-time highs it bounced off of a few weeks back. Obviously, I think it will move on through that level, but am curious if it will be a slow steady move or a break-out type of move.
