The stocks that I'm nuts about!
Instead of just taking, I'm going to offer my own contribution here. These are the stocks that I think are going to have a good year, or two, or ten...
OZRK - A profitable and highly rated regional bank. I currently own this stock. I am long from $39.14
MIDD - They make food service equipment etc (I don't own this yet)
IPGP - Lasers! Lasers for fiber optics, and such. (I don't own this yet)
THRM - They make parts for industrial and automotive businesses (I don't own this yet)
I like each one of these for the same reasons; low debt, excellent sales and growth record for 10 years or more, excellent management, they have some kind of advantage in the marketplace, and I think they are under-priced currently. Additionally, I think their business is kind of cool.
I have 17 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings.
