Quantcast
I have 17 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Register for free and you'll be able to post messages on this forum and also receive emails when $$$ MR. MARKET $$$ makes his own trades. ($$$MR. Think you know where the Naz Composite will close on the last trading day of the year?

Well...Even if you don't...You can take a guess at it.

    3) The deadline for entries is Tuesday September 19th at 10:00pm EDT...no exceptions.

    4) Once you have posted your entry you cannot edit it. It is carved in stone once you click the SUBMIT button.

So join in...it's only for fun...And you just might win a FREE prize...Doug(IIC)

    Arrow Rob's Guess

Doug, I like your optimism, and I really hope you're right, but I think it will be more like 2,500.

Doug, Thanks for letting me use the crystal ball. It told me that you were close, but 2715 is more like it.

    Default These optimists!

    2715? 2613? Optimistic I think. But who's to say?

Let's see . . . somebody has to lose this contest; it might as well be me . . . .

Hey, Doug: what's the prize? Let me guess: a 15 passenger van? I could use one to haul church people around. Chevy or GMC, of course. I need something that will hold the road and not rollover. Those head massaging Fords and Dodges reduce church attendance.

In that case, I'd better win this thing. According to my calculations, the $COMP should be about 2100 even on January 1, 2007.

Blue is a very nice color.

Doug started the contest with a figure rounded to the hundredths. So
I figured it was fine to do the same -- the thread starter rules!
