Well another month shot to hell. This slow grinding down action by the markets is a killer , and all systems seem to break down. Nevertheless , if the markets can just limp along the following stocks should be winners!

1. ADY SHORT This Chinese milk and soy products distributor stock may have an Up day or 2 .......but look out below!
2. AKRX LONG Diagnostic and therapeutic pharma ceuticals
3. ANV LONG Gold Miner . According to "The Gold Spike Indicator" Gold should take off on or about August 10th
4. CMM LONG China mass media .This SPECULATIVE NYSE $2.45 stock seems to be breaking out!
5. CRUS LONG Cirrus Logic .....performing well
6. IDT LONG This energy transfer and phone card stock seems to be moving UP. Heavy advertising on radio shows in the NY and NJ ! They claim that you will save on your energy bill up to 20% if you transfer your carrier to them!
7. KEI LONG Kelthley Instruments!

River yes those were simpler happy times , if you watch the video tribute , near the conclusion you will see Frankie Lyman's Tombstone. When he passed away , several women were fighting for the limited funds he had left , and their was no money for a tombstone. Fortunately a record shop on Main ave in Clifton NJ raised money and had that tombstone in its front window display. I would assume that is currently the one at his graveside!

Stock Futures are DOWN slightly as I write , so caution is advised. After yesterday's huge run up a pull back could be expected. According to an ECRI article a recession could be in the offering a few months down the pike. ECRI, The Economic Cycle Research, has called EVERY recession over the last 45 years. Well ........with a record like that it may be wise to pay attention. Google ECRI and check for the latest information.

I don't really have an inkling of where the stock futures are headed tomorrow, but I do have CONFIDENCE in the following picks. Since I will be leaving early for the Dentist , I am posting tonight!
According to one pundit who has used "The Gold Spike Indicator" with great success, on or about August 10, 2010, Gold should begin to undergo a spike in price. 3 Gold stocks are among the 11 picks!

1. ANV LONG Small Gold Miner
2. CMIN LONG Highly Speculative OTCBB. This is a PUMPED stock I received in a mailer at my home. The chart looks good ......but than again excercise caution with this one!
3. CRUS LONG Cirrus Logic
4. GSS LONG Gold miner . Apparently there is some take over action with the goldminers. Read this Yahoo Post on GSS .....Verrrrrry Interesting:

Red Back produces about 400,000 ounces a year at the moment from 2 mines, one in Ghana and one in Mauritania. They are growing production from 400,000 to 800,000 ounces by 2012, mostly by growing the Mauitania mine. They have about 700 million in cash and about 8 million in reserves.

I have long thought a GSS-Redback combination would be very interesting, but Kinross pays top dollar to get them.

I am shocked at the 7.1 Billion purchase price. That is some serious cash for a company that at this point is virtually the same production size as GSS is right now. I'm not saying GSS is worth anywhere near 7 Billion at the moment, it lacks the defined growth strategy and reserves for now, but not by all that much. With enough money to pour into Exploration, GSS will look alot like Red Back two years from now. Instead of Mauratiania it will probably be the Cote D'Ivory for GSS with the new mine.

I am tweeking the list from yesterday in order to give us maximum profits. The CMIN OTCBB Gold Pick stumbled although Gold was UP......once again evidence on how these "Pumped Penny Stocks" are MANIPULATED. Basically the promoters after received huge up front payments send out emails and letters through the US postol service. All is legal because the fine print at the bottom of the promotion lists the sum they were paid in WORDS , notice how slick, because numbers would be too easy to spot . The clients or SUCKERS then pile in , the stock is jacked up , and then the sharks or promoters sell on top leaving the suckers holding the bag! STAY AWAY from these promoter paid penny stocks.
Also a pundit says that , The Gold Spike Indicator, indicates gold will spike up on or about August 10, 2010. Is he blowing smoke out of his hat , or is there any validity to this claim ......here is the link he claims he has called 6 gold spikes in a row, will August 10th be number 7 ?
