I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Thumbs up Windows 10

Most people are making good reviews. "Easy as XP" they say. I am getting ready to install.

Here is what Fortune Magazine said yesteday:

Apparently, I'm on the list but the "permission" hasn't come yet.

When I signed up for the free download, I told them to notify me when they were ready.

There should be a "Windows Key" on the lower right side of the taskbar, next to the network and volume icons (assuming you have Windows 8 or 8.1). If you "mouse-over" the Windows Key, it says "Get Windows 10". Or you can go to this link

Here's a little primer that looks useful on how to manipulate the new start menu. I'm sure there's lots of stuff on 10 out there.

I run an IT department, one of my techs beta tested 10. He said it was pretty good. He said anyone running Windows 8 would be better off with 10, and anyone running 7 would be better off just sticking with 7 because there was little difference between 7 and 10. He couldn't find any "must have" feature in 10 other than it fixes all the garbage and problems that 8 had.

This is all helpful. Thank you all. I may just stick with 7 for a while to allow them to fix the few identified glitches. The free upgrade is available for a year, as I understand it.

Am downloading right now 81% complete. Was on waiting list for less than 2 hours.

    billy and others,

I have had it for a little over 2 weeks now. It has a much better feel than Win 8. I have over 40 years in the computer business. I still like XP better. They (Microsoft) seem to want to make the desktop look like an Iphone or an Ipad.

I figure I'm going to convert my backup laptop, which runs 8.1 which I never want to use, to 10 after Labor Day. That way they have a chance to make any obvious fixes to 10 that need be done. Then I can get some exposure to 10. On Black Friday I plan to buy a new desktop which pretty certain. Might leave my main laptop running 7. After all I left my old desktop running XP until it retired last year and I like 7. Stuff I've read implies one can make 10 look more like 7 and less like a mobile device.

Converted my backup laptop which ran 8.1 to 10. Feel like I have a new machine since I could do nothing with 8.1. So far have had no problems. Took about 2 hours to convert. All I know right now is it will run Photoshop Elements 8 and I was able to restore my photos from backup media (DVD and a thumbdrive). The photo stuff was important to me. I like the look and feel of it but I am not a computer person.

I have a friend who does not own a TV. He uses Windows Media Center TV and says Windows 10 abandons Media Center. This is a problem for him. I gather they want you to move to an Xbox. I don't know any more (tho I could find out) but if you are in his situation this could be important.
