Anyone who wants to become a member of this board can only do so with a valid email address. We do absolutely nothing with this address, apart from using it for administrative tasks relating to the functioning of the board, and of course for $$.Market$$$'s mailings, announcing his buys and sells. When in the course of time this email address becomes invalid, we are no longer able to reach that member, and since it is the only way we have of contacting a member, the membership becomes invalid.
