Here are my picks for October 4:

Fresno St +6 1/2 over Colorado St

Fresno St already has a couple of quality skins with victories over Oregon St and Louisiana Tech (holding the Ragin Cajuns to only 6 points). Rams have already lost 3 games to teams that are about equal to Fresno...

Florida -13 over Mississippi

If Gators are going to salvage their season, it starts this week at the Swamp. A miracle comeback over Kentucky most certainly will have the team energized this week. Rebels defense is very weak against the run and have yielded over 40 points to Memphis and Texas Tech...two offenses inferior to Florida's. With every game, QB Leak will get exponentially better.

Bowling Green -27 1/2 over Central Michigan

Chippewas are going to wish that they could skip this one. The Falcons have beaten Eastern Kentucky by 50 and Liberty by 59. Their offense only has one gear. Central Michigan beat Eastern Kentucky by 1 point and let them score 41. This could get ugly early. Bowling Green's victory over Purdue and big scare they put on Ohio State means this team will be licking its chops when it comes to the lesser MAC menu.

Cincinnati -8 over Southern Miss

Cinci has already beaten West Virginia and gave Miami Ohio all they could handle on the road. Southern Miss has a ton of trouble putting any kind of consistent offense on the field. If they can't run the ball against a tough Bearcat D on the road, it is unlikely they'll score more than 10 points.

UTEP +11 over SMU

Both of these teams are really awful. Betting on UTEP should be illegal but I don't know if SMU can score more than 10 points (they haven't done it yet all year). If UTEP can manage even one TD, SMU will have a hard time covering.

Temple +3 over Middle Tennessee

Poor Temple has done everything this year but win. They've lost 2 games in OT, with one of them against highly ranked Louisville. Temple is a smashmouth hard hitting team that will force opponents to turn the ball over. They must be smelling a victory here against a team that has been beaten by Florida Atlantic (huh??).

Glad I found a little football here.

Like UTEP and Temple but I was always a sucker for the dogs.

Idaho +11
Illinois +14
San Diego +1

It's now 11:33 AM EST. Noon kickoffs are about to go. And what do I got? NADA! :x

I got no Huge One selections. :( Here I am, a new kid in town, trying to emulate, duplicate, be fascinated by all things huge, and I gots no football picks. Should I go on my own? Make my own selections? If I can't even pick quality stocks on my own, how in the world am I supposed to pick unpredicatble football teams? :?:

The HUge One went down big time with last week's selections. He is currently under .500 for the season. With none of his picks here yet, I will have to play my own. So sad. :(

I like Texas Texh (plus over Texas)
Iowa (minus over Minnesota)
Purdue (plus over Ohio St.)
Georgia (minus over Auburn)
*Washington State* (minus over Arizona St.)
Nebraska (plus over Kansas St.)

* Best bet

I miss the Huge One's selections. :(

I was looking forward to this week's selections, but once again had to go on my own. I went with Michigan (minus a TD) and will have to pick some others later when I get a chance. Luckily the Huge One is more prompt with his stock selections than the college picks. :) I make more money with those. Thanks, Huge One. :D
