no, and I normally do get the emails. I may be on a "bad e-mail" list, though, since I have had the account fill up from time to time, bouncing messages back to sender. but since hotmail's upgraded to 250MB I shouldn't have that problem again....

No, you didn't! When the admins send out mail, they have a check box to ignore that option. :) In fact, everyone has it off as a default. The fact that we routinely ignore this option for $$$Mr.Market$$$ announcements is one of the reasons for the Important: Mailing List.
