Why not go to this Styles section (http://www.phpbb.com/styles/styles_demo) and look for something nice. Then come back and tell us what you like.

Karel,
Is there any way top view posts in chronological order? I feel like I am missing some with this format. Or, better yet, tell me how to view postings so I dont miss any. Thanks.

Tim

Hi Tim,

I don't know why you posted this under a very different question, but allright.

First off, when you visit the board and have logged yourself in, you'll see a link View posts since last visit. This shows all topics with new posts, most recent one first.

And you don't need to be afraid to miss a post, even when you don't use that link. New posts are color coded. In the current scheme, that color is orange. On the first page (Forum Index), all forums with new posts have an orange sheet of paper (http://www.mrmarketishuge.com/forum/templates/subSilver/images/folder_new_big.gif or whatever is), to the left of the topic title, instead of http://www.mrmarketishuge.com/forum/templates/subSilver/images/folder_big.gif. You'll find the legend that explains this below the Who is online box. Enter that forum and you'll find all topics color coded more or less the same way. See the legend at the bottom of the page. And when you click on the small picture with the arrow to the left of the topic title (http://www.mrmarketishuge.com/forum/templates/subSilver/images/icon_newest_reply.gif), you open that topic at the new messages. (The messages are sorted: most recent last; you can reverse the sort order.) On top of that, each new message in that topic has (again) a small orange sheet (http://mrmarketishuge.com/forum/templates/subSilver/images/icon_minipost_new.gif) in its first header line (before "Posted"), instead of http://mrmarketishuge.com/forum/templates/subSilver/images/icon_minipost.gif.

Karel
