Investing in stocks is not only a set of technical criteria and economical indexes. It's also about being able to actually FOLLOW those rules on a psychological level. So here's the thing that MrMarket did not put on his stock-buying system list -- keep telling people, and more importantly to your own self, how huge you are, which MrMarket quiet succeeds doing on this forum :) I think that's a great way to go on. Any opinions?

Mr Market doesn't have to tell anyone he's huge. Haven't you seen his track record. He IS huge! and...I hear he can drink a lot of beer.

Right, a system only works when you actually follow it.

Oh yea...I forgot to say, you're absolutely right. Self confidence is an extremely important ingredient for success. Mr Market does have that.
There are some people on the IBD boards who can't stand it. I think it may be because they are jealous.

I think there was no real reason for this thread other than a lame choice of words for a cheap shot, and a bad one at that. Go back to the IBD boards and colaberate on a new way of insulting MR.M.. Call him what you will; untill I see your record.. He's still bigger than yourself.
Start a thread with real words and numbers reflecting your current positions and on the Markets and we will consider your size...

Hold your horses son. I think there was no real reason for your insults. I'll just take that you were in a bad mood when replying.
As for my open positions, I hold SHFL that I bought at $39.52 in the end of Nov. for 18%+ gain so far. SMMX for 3.2% gain so far. Recently closed TOPT for 10% gain.
I'm so H.U.G.E. already. But I am getting even huger.

Argh, TOPT has been killing me. I should just stay away from anything oil related.

Besides fundamentals, my reason to buy was that political conditions are still "favorable" for oil and oil-related companies. Crude falls today, a new disturbance causes it to spike back tomorrow, then it falls back. Rather predictable in the course of about four weeks.
