K-mart + Sears 2 Losers Unite

One thing good about this merger. It will result in one future bankruptcy instead of two. It's a good match , neither company has been able to learn from past mistakes at least for the last several years. Aren't the individual department checkouts just great at Sears , come on this aint 1950 anymore!

I agree. There's things about Sears that I like (ie: their tools). But it's extremely aggravating to wander around a department store looking for an open cash register.

Tying 2 drunks together won't make them walk straight. I think this analogy fits the Sears/K-mart merger, although I hope I'm wrong, as I really would like these companies to succeed.

K-mart's biggest source of income was the selling of 50 stores to Sears for over 500 million. They just eliminated their best customer, a great start!
