I like cwtr because practically speaking with Christmas coming Millions will take the easy way out and order by catalog. The p/e's a little high but there are earnings and NO debt. It's ranked first in it's group by ibd.
Mr. Huge will pick uci. He would be replacing a good financial with a better one. It's ranked 1'st by ibd and it's accumulation rate is A+ so people are buying this stock.
It has a nice low p/e...HUGE earnings, and a div. taboot! The co. has debt but that's not always a bad thing.
The chart on phm is beautiful. It has a low p/e, earnings and a div.
The div. alone on imh would make you happy & hdwr looks like a winner also!
WHich every one he chooses I'll be buying as he's a genius!

I'm skeptical about PHM. It looks extended to me. Also, as interest rates rise, that will tend to pull down earnings in the home building market.

My favorite is HDWR. It looks to be at the early stages of a big run. And High oil prices are good news for alternative feul sources like coal. Fears about stability in oil supply are going to be here for awhile too.

But I haven't looked at the other stocks on your list as much. So take my view with a grain of salt.

Interesting that UIC Inc's Symbol is UCI. This is a nice MrMarket play.
I compute a R-squared of .75 and rising.

By the way, congratulations on another nice call with WSB.

I like UCI...

Not much volatility, EPS of 96, RS of 98 and a good, steady uptrend without dipping below the MA...

heck, I may buy that one even if it's not picked.

I've been browsing this forum for the last three hours and I think is a terrific community. I will definitely be coming here every day. A "first timer" question. How do I follow Mr. Market's picks?. I've seen that todays he is chossing a new group of stocks but I'm confuse if there is a previous lists where the stocks beign picked are beign added or deleted. Thanks!.

Hello Everyone,

I was out of town on business lately. So sorry that I missed the

will organize a Pre Valentines Day Tournament.

I wanted to revisit the The Red Sox / Yankees Top 5 stocks
Here are the results as of the close Monday, October 11, assuming you would have paid the highest price on September 21st.

<LI>PHM -26.61%

Does anyone have an opinion on Radio Frequency ID tags? I’ve been tracking DGIN – Digital Insight. Has anyone been watching this? Thanks.

I ran into this thread when re-thinking RFID tags.

UCI closed at 30.41 on 9/20/2004. The 16% target would have been around
35.30. UCI hit a high of 36.40 on 10/13/2004. Nice Top 5 pick MrMarket.

According to S&P, PHM has the following attributes:
S&P Earnings & Dividend Rank: A
It is the most undervalued from the list with a Fair Value Rank of 5.
Fair Value Calc: $87.70 (Slightly Undervalued)
PHM scored higher than 99% of all companies for which an S&P Report is available.
Since February, 2005, the technical indicators for PHM have been BULLISH.

I want MM to pick PHM. :)
