They said it couldn't be done, and then he did it. The Babe went down as the Roger Maris set the baseball record of 61 home runs.

Now $$$MR. MARKET$$$ has equalled Roger Maris feat by selling WSB for a gain of 17.8% (including dividends) over my purchase price of 10.67 on June 30, 2003. Over the same period, the S&P 500 was only up 15.8%. Yep..that's right, $$$MR. MARKET$$$ did it again. For the 61st consecutive time, $$$MR. MARKET$$$ makes 15% and beats the market. I am incomparable. Barry Bonds..I am coming after you. They can walk me all they want, I will continue the onslaught.
No one can compare to me. I am the greatest stock picker on the planet. I just drink beer and run my computer model and I laugh as all the others try to figure out how I do it.
Go ahead...tell me how great I am and I'll show you my next pick.
I am HUGE!!

Mr. Market,
You are not only great, but large in size, elaborate, ample, mighty, intense, eminent, intense, gra nd,beyond average, excellent, fine, and markedly superior in quality, character, and skill (Funk and Wagnalls)
In your wisdom, did you take WSB dividends in cash or reinvest in shares? I have to wait 4 days to sell since payment in shares will be on Sept.21st and I don't want to sell a handfull of shares and pay the commission twice.

Congrats on #61! Thanks for this excellent pick, $$MM. You are HUGE!!!!!!!!!!
Although I won't be drinking the usual 1000 beers with you on this one, since I sold just half of my WSB, I'll have to make it just 500 this time. I'll take the rest one beer a week for another 500 weeks, since WSB will pay my beer tab with their HUGE dividend!
Seriously, though, I think you really found a good one in WSB, and I plan to keep it for another 5 years or 100%, whichever comes first. I see them increasing dividends 10-20% per year for several years to come, at least. Stock price should follow along with the increases. Also, this way I can put off paying the taxes on this one.

Congrats Mr.Market. Good job.
Technically, you sold too early, so anyone still long, here's what I see.

Nice Job Ernie!!!
I'll let you know when I reach my goal...which is 10 winners in a row. So far on my Daytrading my record is 7 in a row.

I had 4 winners in a row, until last week...I tried a swing trade on DHB and lost. Oh well...time to start over.

I may have 6 winners in a row, but it may be on a technicality. Bought WSB and AH each 3 different times and cashed in selling all last week only sold twice, but it included all 6 purchases. Two of the gains were over 40% so I'm sitting on all cash. What to buy next? I'd better diversify more. Too much $ in two baskets. Held AH for over 7 months waiting on 40.Starting now I'm going to post losses also in the spirit of Mr. Market and ICC. Hope they are few and far between.

I'm not the "Official" judge or anything...but I think you can count the same stock multiple times in your recordkeeping. You may have read this elsewhere...but I went into AH yesterday...I held it for 6 or 7 minutes when that guy came on TV....Bot at 39.43...banged off 41 and I was out at 40.61...it was cool!!!.
BTW...I was looking at LFB because of an EPS scan I ran...I asked Spike to give his technical take on it...so you might want to check his response when he posts it...Cash isn't bad though...I think the Naz looks like it's got some downside here...I posted a chart link over at my thread if you'd like to take a look...Might be a good week for a break???

Those guys are definitely earnings machines. Think of it this way: no one ever went broke taking a profit and isn't it more fun to pick new ones anyway?
I mean, most people go fishing and throw them back, so the real fun is in the chase, not in the eating!

hmm, since you've pointed out the obvious in easy-to-see chart fashion, I'm going to have to consider selling my WSB sooner than I had planned.
This is of course a good problem to have...
