ESCA: Low P/E, healthy margins, good chart, good growth, but volume way too low for me on this one. WAY too low. Also low institutional ownership.

ESMC: Low P/E, nice chart, excellent margins (understatement!), good volume, but for some reason I shy away from medical stocks. Also VERY low institutional ownership.

FL: Low P/E, decent chart, decent margins, good volume, HIGH HIGH HIGH instituational ownership, good analyst coverage, moving back into decent growth from some years of negative growth.

HZO: All-around good. This would be my hands-down pick EXCEPT for shrinking margins. Margins are anemic on this one, although there must be a reason that I will look into later if I have time. *upadate on margins* While comparatively low, they do not seem to be out of their normal range.

IPAR: Great margins, excellent growth, but unfortunately the 50% run-up over the last month or so has really pumped that P/E up there. Two or three weeks ago, with a slightly lower P/E, this would have been my hands-down pick.

Bottom line: Without more DD, my conservative pick would be FL, with my pick for quickest possible gain going to IPAR. If I found a reason to believe HZO's margins were going to rebound, I would buy that one. *update on HZO* If I was buying, my pick this time would be HZO.

HZO....improving economy....rich people buy more brand-new boats ..... not-so-hot economy .... rich people buy used boats. HZO wins either way. :)

I think IPAR would have been the choice if it was not for the huge price swing today " Hence sleep on it" make sure there arent any surprizes lurking.

HZO---too high of debt/equity ratio

ESMC --revenues up only 14% and besides I sold it last week for a 20% profit (prior data dump). I dont want to buy again. :)

ESCA ---also high debt

FL-- sales only up 5 %

then again I havent been right yet....... :P

My pick is IPAR, leader in a good group.
#2 would be ESMC also in a good group.
