Every day I get an instant message from Motherload who is begging to be allowed back onto the forum. Of course Karel is loyally protecting the integrity of this board, but I figured in the spirit of democracy, we can leave it up to the loyal members of this board:

I read some of his posts when I first joined, he seems to know what he's doing in regards to investing. I think he deserves a second chance.

i have to agree with Karel. Personally I feel he is nothing but a self-promoting jerk. and a grandious one at that. that was my vote for keeping him off.

I think Karel was correct to ban him, but I also think that as long as he understands why he was banned, and agrees to shape up in the future, he should get a chance to redeem himself. But allowing him back with the same behavior as before, only to ban him again would seem pretty silly... so really it could go either way- depends mostly on Motherload's attitude, I'd say.

He was advertising his (presumably free) Yahoo messenger stock pick service, which is now being presented as an email service. The main thing is that we want people to contribute here, and not use our forum as an advertising platform for a service somewhere else. And totally not for something as uncheckable as a messenger service. I am very happy for people who scored the eighth 100% gainer thanks to ML, but the rest of us just have no way to check the validity of the claim. Be a hero, post your picks here when you make them, and then you can indulge in all the bragging you want. We'll cheer you on, too. (And if you pick a lemon, be prepared to face the flak.)

I did not assume he did charge for it, and he presented it as a Yahoo messenger service. For all I know he isn't a bad stock picker at all, nor a pump-and-dumper, but then, why not come out of the woodwork? If he wants to hide his picks, he can hide his service too, as far as I am concerned.

I'm not here to play any ego games. My purpose here is to meet other good people and hopefully share some winning money ideas with those people. Now, i know it is easy sometimes to be misinterpreted with the written word but my intentions are simple. To help the good people of this board with my thoughts make money and vice versa. We are all teachers.

Not here to prove anything or have a ego, but over the last month i have the documents to prove 11 300%+ big board swing gainers. That is not to brag or anything just fact! Why so much hate here? glad to see you responding. My only concern as an admin is the promotion of this board ;) and that I like to see people post here. Perhaps Bulletin Board software isn't he best idea for quickly moving picks as yours seem to be, but I am always ready to work something out. I repeat my suggestion of posting here and then PMing the people on your list. (People receive email notifications of PM's by default.)

I am completely unimpressed by claims after the fact, but you might add me to your list so that I can check your track record going forward. edit: But I am still interested in that list, and if that was an offer to email it, please do

A little tip: your posts would gain a lot if you did not feel compelled to wonder so much about the (perceived) hate here. Just ignore it, don't pontificate about it.

Hi Karel,

I have been following his plays and sometimes they really do move fast. I have finally the first time in my life had 2 positions double in a matter of a few days. At first I was very uncomfortable with penny stocks and just followed along. Now I feel that I understand how to play them and use most of my old methods with small entries and tight stops sometimes just a couple cents below in case it decides to pull a backup on me. when i was a kid there was a woman named Mrs. Nibs who lived next door to us. there was a wire fence that was made up of small 3" wide x 5" high openings. she had several pekinese dogs that were constantly barking and would make a racket all day and night long. i hated those dogs and i would call them over to the fence and surprisingly they would continue to come everytime and i would grab their little heads and pull them thru the fence and leave them there like that. it was the funniest thing to see 3 or 4 little heads stuck in the fence and not being able to get out and barking like crazy with their little legs moving trying to back out. eventually she would come out to see what was going on and i used to stand around and wait for her. she used to call me a sadist and i used to call her a drunk which she was. i was about 6 or 7 at the time. i dont do that anymore but i laugh about it everytime i think of it.

if you think for 1 minute that any of this is about something new or his ideas, setups, and trades you're way off base. anyone who has taken issue with the guy are legit individuals who dont seem to me to be overreactive and always have the factual backup to support whatever they say. then there is the cheating factor in the contests. it does cast a shadow on ml's legitimacy about all of it.
and could you even consider that karel would ban any individual if the basis for it werent there and real. that would be beyond my comprehension.

I simply cannot understand why you would turn down such an honorable invitation to join such an elite group. I myself have patiently stood on the sidelines for years hoping for such a priviledge to fall into my lap, and no such invitation has been forthcoming. And here it is, you (of all people!) in such a short time, have climbed into the stratosphere of elite traders, and have been extended an invitation to join such an exclusive club . . . words escape me . . . you simply cannot imagine my outrage, my envy, my amazement, that you'd turn down such an opportunity! Some things will just never change. You guys crack me up and I will always check in with a post time to time. Different PC's all the time and not logged in always but good to keep up with you guys.

i could hate the guys guts but i would still read and absorb what he has to say and take a close look at his picks. im much more interested in making money and capitalizing on anything that anyone posts here or anywhere else than letting my emotions cast a shadow on my decisions because i dont like the guys personallity or demeanor. if he is reading any of this dialogue i hope he sees the truthfulness in all of it. good luck.
