I thought this might make for a great thread....

What is the word on the street?

Are you have any "funny feelings" about a market, the world, coming catastrophies, or coming good times?

Do you have an insider tip that you want to make public?

Do you know of a stock that is about to make a big, fast, and tradeable move?

Is someone cheating on something... and nobody knows it yet?

COME ON!!! OUT WITH IT!!!!! :D

Sears SHLD is on its last legs. I had a good Ford F tip at 8.50 but nobody asked.

Rondo for about the same price .....I would recommend the stock LUK. Basically it is run by two sharp vulture investors who buy up distressed companies after they have been beaten down . They have a great track record , and only buy and manage companies whom they thoroughly check out. I have bought this stock for my daughter's Roth Ira account. One dollar placed into this stock in 1978 , would have been worth $900 at the end of 2007. Luk has come down lately .....but will surely go UP !
How does it compare with VFIIX ?.....just LOOK!

Peanuts...The road to riches is easy...Just buy what I sell...lol

Actually, except for the 4 holdovers I've had the last 6 months I suggest buying the strongest movers in the Groups du Jour...It is time consuming and profits are not huge on each play...But it is working very well...Happy New Year...Doug

Go to morningstar.com and check it out. If you are looking for a high
quality extremely conservative investment for your grand kids, this would
fit the bill nicely. 5 stars, all AAA government bonds, a low expense ratio (.21%), and of course tax efficient!

The stores stink and I am willing to bet that you are right... but it is probably the financial end of the business that will take them under? So which is it... bankrupcy or buyout?

A government backed mortgage mutual fund.... long term, I think that whomever told you is 100% correct. But when is the best time to buy it? Whenever you like, or time the buy with housing bottom?

I have a strong feeling that the US Dollar is about to take a big dive off the high platform and into an empty swimming pool

How can we print so much money out of thin air and then expect the world to buy it when we are having an economic crisis and a changeover in the presidency?

Smart money will get out of dollar denominated assets... maybe this is why oil has been hit so hard lately?

Did you read the Wall Street Journal article about the Russian who predicts that the USA will be split up into several different republics after the collaspe of America by June/July 2010?

If you buy @ the right time ($1.00) & sell at the right time (0.95) (for a lose) you will pay no taxes.
