Since the stock market is in ruins, I need to go back to gambling to get positive returns. I went 4-3 last week...here are my nuggets for this week:

Georgia Tech -7 1/2 over Miss St - although the SEC is generally tougher,
Miss St just isn't an SEC team in my book

Minnesota - 6 1/2 over FL Atlantic - I was impressed by Minnesota's destruction of Soylent Green..and they are 3-0 so far this year

Troy + 21 over Ohio St - I think Ohio State is going to be licking their wounds. they don't have much to play for now..that's gonna be a lot of points for them to cover

Iowa + 1 1/2 over Pitt....You gotta be kidding me with this line. Iowa is a legit Big 10 team. Pitt already lost to Soylent Green and barely beat Buffalo. Candy from babies

Navy + 4 1/2 over Rutgers....Rutgers is bad...and Navy is still mad at them for how they were treated by the Rutgers fans last year...could be a really interesting game

TCU - 24 over SMU - You name the score. TCU is a big time team.

Utah St - 4 1/2 over Idaho - Utah St is home..and Idaho is horrible.

Ok..I am 10-4 so far this year...here are 8 winners for this week:

Colorado St +26 1/2 over Cal - I don't think the Cal defense is that good this year, and may enable a late cover

Colorado + 5 1/2 over FSU - Riding Ralphie here....Bobby Bowden is senile and FSU QB is horrible

UCF - 5 over UTEP - UTEP is horrible..Mike Price will make the call

San Diego St -11 over Idaho - Aztecs are home and betting against Idaho is candy from babies

Arkansas St -1 over memphis - Arkansas St is good this year..memphis is not and gas is $5/gallon in Memphis

Troy St +17 over Oklahoma St - Troy covered this line against Ohio St...see them do it again

Florida International + 19 1/2 over Toledo - methinks Toledo defense stinks

Arkansas +28 over Texas - Horns all discombomulated because of hurricane....this is an SEC bet over Big 12...take the points!
