After researching it, I love this company. I bought it today when it had started to come back from a dramatic early morning 8% slide, which I attributed to profit-taking. SSNC had gone up about six dollars in less than three days. I bought it at $29.39. It ended the day down 12%, down to $27.84! As far as I saw there was no news, giving more credence to profit-taking. Since the stock appeared in the Huge One's data dump at a much higher price, and since I liked it a lot back then and saw no changes to the fundamentals in the last ten hours, in my own personal opinion, I believe it to be a great buy at this price.

SSNC was not only in the Huge One's data dump, but just released a very good earnings report, Among many things I saw after research, I like the following things about the company: The measure of relative price change and consistency is very high, the previous day's closing price for SSNC is significantly above its 50-day moving average and it's quarterly earnings estimates were just increased by an analyst. While the PE is a bit high (37), it does have high institutional ownership and I believe a very good risk/reward ratio.

Like the Huge One I will not flat out make any recommendations. However, in my humble opinion, I think that anyone who buys this stock at $27.84 tomorrow will enjoy a very happy new year. :D

I note this post has 67 views but no responses. I certainly hope some of you (if not all) are 'silent partners' with me on SSNC. It is up almost 7 1/2% since I bought it a week ago. Hopefully some of you got in after me at $27.84. If you did buy at that price last Tuesday, as I suggested you look into in my above post, you would be up over 13% in four trading days. Not bad, people, not bad. :D

Glad I bought this puppy. Up about 12 - 15% today alone. Thank you Huge One for having this in one of your recent dumps. I am trying to unload it today for a 19% profit. (Bought it at $29.39, looking to sell it at $35.00) Hope others took this ride with me. :)

(For some reason I am unable to cut and paste the news story, but the jist of the matter is they issued a press release yesterday after the bell which raises guidance for the fourth quarter from .23 to .26 cents per share to .27 -.28 cents per share. Management says all facets of company running on all cylinders heading into the new year.)

Huge One,

Thanks for pointing me towards this great company which was in your Thanksgiving data dump. Although it didn't make your top five back then, I looked into the company and really liked them. As you see, I bought it at $29.39 in the end of November. I see it is now your recent selection. I hope all who buy it now enjoy $ome nice profit$ a$ well. :)

When I have time, I will once again look through your data dumps for other gems (which don't necessarily make your final selection or top five.)

Thanks again,

The Kid
