We don't have it in our town and the computer knows that.

It seems to me that Stockcharts should've remembered to change their clocks

Doug,
My computer did remember . Mrs. billyjoe stopped it from changing although I don't know her reasoning behind it.

mine did too...but hardly a reason to endorse windows.
I heard on a left wing radio show the other day (Car Talk...anyone who has an iq over 100 is guilty of being "left-wing") about a better day-light savings management idea, in a nutshell:
Every morning, at 2 am, move the clocks back an hour so you get an extra hour of sleep. Then every day at 4 pm when you're not that productive anyway, move them ahead an hour (happy hour). Sounds good to me.

Mine did. Its so groovy having the extra light in the evening but the animals at the local farm were all confused because people wanted to feed them an hour earlier than they were used to.

The animals will probably get used to it around the first week in November

My XP did not at 1st. I wandered around and found out that I did not have it set to adjust. After I corrected the selection, it changed.

I wonder how many people will have to change the time on their computers again in 3 weeks, when the original time-savings adjustment use to be.

my newest computer reset to the correct time automatically. the others haven't, but I didn't even notice until now. at work, it's a different story. utter chaos and pandemonium have resulted- the patch they gave us to fix this problem didn't work quite right, and meetings have moved an hour back and forth multiple times. My computer thought it was in TJ, also (but that was my bad). Entire labs were shut down- this was like Y2K all over again, except that Y2K was pretty much a non-event.

remember, I'm in the business of diagnostics now, not medicine. the standards for phama companies are a tad higher, imo. but yeah, the warm fuzzies aren't happening for me either!

Nah, they'll just figure the humans are confused and adapt.

My guess is that we have two ears so when your wife asks you to do something it can go in one ear and out the other....unless it has to do with lingerie or sex or food.

My work computer got especially screwed up, supposedly they were supposed to send out a patch but I never got it and all my meetings in outlook were a hour back so that day was hell for me.

Heck...the way I figure it is that if you are on time for meetings you aren't busy enough

I just glanced at my computer clock and according to it, I have traveled back in time exactly one hour. Maybe this is something of significance

Peanuts,
What bad luck. If it had happened during market hours think of the possibilities.
