Hi everyone, was refered here by Mr. I AM HUGE from GL. From reading these posts here, you surely are HUGE too. It's not just a myth.
Anyway, I'm 18 and have some money I want to put away for long-term investing. Any suggestions? I really don't know much about the stock market, but it can't be too hard to make an investment. I'm not into frequent trading or any of that stuff, I just want to buy some stock and leave it alone. I'd like it to be fairly secure but don't mind it fluctuating or putting it in a moderate-risky investment. I know this board is full of stocks, but most seem for short term growth. I'm sure I've missed some, but that's just how it seems. I'm gonna try and do a little of that too once I see how everything works. And what do most of you use? Ameritrade?

Thanks
Mike
