Mr. Market,

Though your record is very impressive of nabbing winners of 15% or better, your current holdings include PTSI which is down 23% after 18 months. At what point do you think it is best to suffer the loss and move on? Even if it moves in the other direction and you get your 15% in April 2004, that will only give you a 7.5% annualized return for this particular investment. All told you have an impressive record, but don't you think it may be time to dump a loser?

We all know Mr. Market is huge and can do better than a 7.5% annualized return.

Thanks
Jr

If a company is a great company and its fundamentals are good, I hold it. Many of my winners were just like PTSI. Look at DKS and GRMN. Had I sold those when the market went against me I would have eaten a loss instead of taking a handsome profit. I never really know which picks will behave which way so I use the same overall strategy to each.

Cutting losses is for losers.

tell that tto the shareholders of LU who rode it into the ground

from what I recall, LU had significant losses in earnings and revenues prior to its stock collapse.

Checked the Huge site and there are messages that have not arrived at my e-mail. Anybody else having trouble receiving them. I want to be on the list and want to receive messages at my e-mail address. Look forward to them each day. Kinda quiet without them, that's why I checked the message board to see if anything was going on, there was and I wasn't receiving them by e-mail. GR
