Investment Club Information

I'd like to hear from any of you who are in or ever have been in an investment club. How did you pick stocks? How often? How much did you invest? Any big problems or major arguments among members? How many members?

My neighbor wants to start a club and he uses a mechnical investing program that probably wouldn't be compatible with my methods. Other potential members are all small business owners and seem to be doing well , but I don't have any idea about their investing strategies. Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Most of my friends are lossing their *** in the market. Maybe that's why they keep hounding me to come to their investment meetings...:D

Joined AAII American Association of individual investors, lots of data, has portfolio and screens of passing companies. Only problem it updated monthly.has no chapter in my town. interesting stock screeners. Sirtuck
