There is a member on this forum who doubts my integrity. Some of you who have been members for a longer time and have been following me trade for trade may want to post on this thread and/or answer the poll.

I say screw him and the horse he rode in on... I have watched you rack up win after win.

People get jealous when you have that kind of success. You are the best Mr Market!

By the way, it really pisses me off when people question my credibility. I've lived my life being honest, and I'm certainly not going to be a bold liar on a public forum in front of hundreds of thousands of people.

I have been here since April, '04. At that time MM had "only" 53 winners in a row. I have watched him select, purchase and sell all those winners from #54 until #79. So I can testify to the fact that I have watched him pick 26 winning trades in a row.

Well, I believe you, but as he only seems to be convinced by sworn statements from your broker, or something, what use? We see the announcements of the buys and sells come by, count our money, and relax. Some of us even have been where he comes from, so no matter.

Karel

I can understand how he has doubts about 79 winning trades in a row of at least 15%. He doesn't realize that you still hold onto the ones that haven't reached your target. According to his home page at http://hometown.aol.com/ebarsamian/, Mr Market still has 12 stocks purchased since 2002 which he still holds. That's a winning percentage of 86% which is damn good if you ask me. Even with his losers, the number of winners make up for them.

I have no reason to doubt that Ernie has had that many in a row. He posts and emails his pix and his sells. What else is he supposed to do to prove it?

I do have one question though (maybe it is on your site Ernie)...What was the first stock that started the current streak and when did you buy it?...Best, Doug(IIC)

And here's all of the documentation of the first 44...

There have been several requests from traders on this forum to see documentation of the trades in my streak. I have decided to formally document my incredible streak of 44 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. You know when ESPN did that graphic to show all of Barry Bonds’ 73 home run swings? Pretty cool, right?

For historical purposes, I felt it important that I show the documentation for all of my trades as they were posted on the internet (most of them on Yahoo message boards). These posts validate the time stamps when I entered the positions in real time. This is clear evidence that I am, in all likelihood, the greatest stock picker on the planet. For you perfectionists, some of the buy prices in the message may not match up to the prices in the table on the account of the fact that the stock may have split after my purchase. Also, since some of the tickers for these companies no longer exists, the associated message board was deleted and there is no record available on the internet of my analysis for these companies. So here they are:

There have been 10 more winners making my streak 54 in a row. All of my calls on these are located on my webpage.

The good news is that the streak is still alive and growing. I’d be happy to answer any questions you have if you email me:

I've been around to see the last 25-30 or so picks, and of them nearly all of them have reached the 15% mark and have also outperformed the s&p. I can't vouch for the picks prior to my coming here, but I don't doubt it at all. The only real point to contest here is what is "consecutive profitable picks" because between some of the profitable picks are picks that have yet to reach 15%, so is that consecutive??

Now if you were an active POTW participant I'd have some more nice things to say....

Now here's a question for the board.... Who here thinks that Lyehopper is insensitive?

The statement is for consecutive "trades" not consecutive picks. Therefore, it is both correct and proveable. There might be a question regarding the efficacy or practice of holding those picks that fail to achieve the 15% goal but not of the premise that the "trades" have been successful.

Part of Lyehopper's ranch chores involve increasing the sensitivity of his herd by converting them into steers.

I admit, I didn't understand the parameters of Mr.M's picks when I posted.....I didn't realize the holding period was potentially forever....I thought I read where it was limited to six weeks....for me, it's a question of semantics: trading vs investing....for me, anything longer than a few days, and certainly six weeks or more, is investing....
I would like to know how much Mr M's account appreciated in 2005 in percentage terms.....my account was up 20%.

Opinions are welcome, even ones that are contrary to MM's style. I think he's generous to provide you with arena in which to throw around ideas, and I don't think it's too much to expect you to do it in a polite and respectful manner.

WOW.....I leave you guys alone for a little bit and what happens?
I had to cut through the testosterone to get into the site!

I have a couple of things to say on this subject:

#1 I am new here Mr Market but I have never doubted your claims.
There are some keen investing minds on this site and I know your
claims are valid in order to attract that level of investors to this
site. Keep up the good work. Whew! Glad we have that straight.
I'm new here and I’d hate to be on the wrong side of those
biceps....... I’m just a little thing. :)

#2 Jim, chill dude. I’m a redhead with a temper so I have to
work on self-control myself. One thing I have learned you catch
way more with honey than vinegar; besides I don’t have 22" biceps.
If the sugar doesn’t work THEN you bring out the gasoline. Put that
gas can away and try again. You have a great mind...... let’s start
over and forget this happened.

PS: Mr Market if these guys ever get out of hand again let me know
if you need help; my 200 lb dog could use some new chew toys. ;)

Is the Pope really Catholic? Is Correta King black? Is Ernie somewhat egocentrical? If it smells like shit do you have to taste it to be sure it is shit. If you put a match to your ass and fart will it light? Is piss wet. Can the holder of the goji brandy do no wrong? Is Webs a legend? Can Ray throw darts with either hand? Will you go blind if you masturbate more than 4 times a week? Does your wife really love you. Do you really love your wife? Are Nacluv's really Vulcans? Why is the sky blue daddy? Does your nose really grow if you lie. Is DSteckler really Dave Steckler. Is this Nirvana? Is GOOG going to recoup. Is a pile of shit really 4 little poops? Is the answer to any of these questions yes an is Lyehopper really insensitive? I don't know but he is the holder of the goji.
